Ruggie 2.0 no longer requires a web app + USB connection to use its functions, making it super simple to use. You can now adjust the volume, countdown timer, alarm time, alarm sound selection, and even a new Pomodoro alarm setting directly on the hardware, greatly improving its user friendliness.

The power source was also an issue in the previous version since it only ran on AAA batteries, we're fixing this by adding a secondary power source to greatly improve its reliability.

The alarm sounds have been improved with a wide selection of soothing alarm sounds, with some classic ones remaining that were effective in waking a person up.

There was a beeping noise while switching between settings, combined with its loud volume it create an issue with some users. We've completely eliminated that.

The external of Ruggie 2.0 now features a soft tufted rug design, which is replaceable and washable. Whereas version 1 was made of memory foam, making it difficult to wash.

Overall, version 1 tried to do too many things at once, it wanted to be the best alarm clock in the world, and also a device where it can help rewire your subconscious mind in the morning with a positive message, leading to better start to your day. The second part created issues as it was too difficult for some users to use, or was not wanted at all. We've now streamlined Ruggie 2.0 to first become the world's most effective alarm clock in getting you out of bed, with a wake up experience you enjoy.

Even if your furry animals slept on Ruggie all night, the alarm will still go off.

We've tested Ruggie 2.0's hardware on users weighing 250lbs with no issues. While we haven't done tests above 250 there has been no complaints of weight limit issues from our thousands of users from previous version.

If you use AAA batteries only, it can last up to a year without changing batteries.

If you use USB C, it will last forever as long as you don't unplug it or your electricity goes out.

The best case is to use both, this way it will be on forever.

Ruggie has a 8 level volume setting. At the highest level combined with our loudest alarm sound (Out of 18), its volume can reach around 110-120dB... imagine a lawnmower or an ice-cream truck.

But ofcourse, that is extremely loud and meant for heavy sleepers only.

Ruggie's alarms will shut off when you step on top. But will only stay off once the countdown is over, to prevent you from falling back in bed.

If you get off before countdown ends, the alarm will sound again, and countdown RESTARTS.

The countdown time is adjustable, it defaults at 3 seconds, but you can easily increase it up to 60 seconds. Plenty of time to snap out of the groggy morning mind.

If you get out of bed before the alarm, you can simple go to the alarm mode and click one button to turn it off.

Yes it definitely works on carpeted floors, actually all types of floors it will work on.

No, it only does one thing great, and that is getting you out of bed.

There is a Pomodoro alarm mode, that lets you create a second alarm in 5 minute intervals. (Up to 1 hour)

So you can click this 4 times, and you'll have a new alarm in 20 minutes.... perfect for a power nap. We all know napping over your alarm sucks, this mode is perfect for this.

Ruggie only supports 1 main alarm at 1 specific time.

If you need a secondary alarm you can either use the Pomodoro alarm (within 1 hour after your main), or change the alarm time.

Yes, the soft rug part of Ruggie 2.0 is washable and replaceable, the hardware containing the electronics and pressure sensor underneath are not.
